This traditional village Hotel boasts a 30 seat Restaurant, 14 seat Dining Room and snacks available in the Bar. The menus are many and varied and all food is home cooked, featuring such specialities as Celtic Pride Welsh beef steak, and award winning bacon products from Neuadd Fach. Kerry Houlker is an accomplished, award winning chef, preparing all dishes and accompaniments for her special 7 course seasonal “Tasting” menu. Upper Rectory is also a relaxed and friendly rural retreat, offering traditional accommodation in an intimate and romantic Shepherd’s Hut located in the meadow adjacent to the restaurant.

Sarah and her staff use locally sourced ingredients to offer a wide variety of home prepared and home cooked dishes, for light lunches and snacks throughout the day. The extensive menu also includes savoury pasties, soup sandwiches and baguettes together with a daily specials board. There is always a selection of homemade cakes, sweets and puddings, all baked on the premises and a well stocked Deli counter to choose from. Everything is available to eat in or takeaway.
