Expect even more sparkle than usual at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture on Thursday 21 September, as Vibes Jazz takes to the stage.  Band members have played at Ronnie Scotts, The Marquee and Glastonbury and with bands including Mother Gong, the Carl Gibson Band and the Bobby James Band.


“We are thrilled to have the Vibes Jazz Trio closing our summer season of jazz nights”, said administrator Anne-Marie Pope, “the nights have all been a real success, the musicians really love playing in the intimate, glamourous atmosphere of the Museum, and the audience are similarly delighted.  We hope to have a real crowd on the 21st.”


Vibes Jazz Trio, featuring George Cummings and Trev Davies (yes, he of Trevor Davies Music in Leominister), will play at 8.15pm, shortly after doors open at 8pm.  Tickets are £12 in advance, £15 on the door, with reductions for under 16’s and free for under 10’s, and can be bought from the Andrew Logan website (, or in person at either the Museum or R H Bunners in Montgomery. 


The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture opened in Berriew in 1991 and celebrated an auspicious 25 year Silver anniversary in 2016.  The museum is open 12 – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays throughout June, July, August and September and by arrangement.  Entry is only £3.00 (concs £1.50).  Family tickets £8.  For more information contact the Museum direct on 01686 640 689 / 07813 885 906 or
