About the BBC

With over 100 members, Berriew Bowling Club (BBC), is one of the largest clubs in the village. Size alone however isn't a measure of success. BBC probably has the widest age range of members from juniors not yet in their teens, to players in their 80's, of both genders and they keep on coming.

Every year new members join BBC, from juniors to seniors, whether its players trying Lawn Bowls for the first time or experienced players moving to the area, BBC is the club of choice. Why? BBC is a very inclusive club with a superbly maintained Green and excellent clubhouse facilities, including separate changing rooms, a community lounge, fully equipped kitchen and a licensed bar.

There are other measures of success too......winning!

Throughout its history BBC and the players it has produced have won numerous awards, cups, champoinships and accolades here and around the world, right through to the present day when BBC can boast no fewer than 4 Welsh Internationals amongst its members.
Coaching plays a big part in bowling success, whether you want to play purely for your own enjoyment, or you want to reach for the stars, coaching sessions are available to you to help you to improve your game.

Most of all though it's about enjoying yourself, so why not join us and experience your own measure of success.
