Berriew - A thriving and beautiful place to live, visit and enjoy.

The picturesque village of Berriew is one of the jewels in the Mid-Wales crown, with its black-and- white cottages, majestic church and the river Rhiw flowing through its heart.

However Berriew isn’t just another pretty Welsh village, it’s a community made up of people with many common aims and ideas and with the drive to achieve, but also people with many diverse characteristics, which brings about a very interesting mix of population.

You can see a little more of how Berriew functions by taking a moment to look on this website at the number and variety of clubs, associations and organisations that operate within the village and also the support they receive to achieve their individual goals.

But most of all Berriew is welcoming and if you’re planning to come to Berriew we hope that the information contained in the pages of this website will help to make your stay all the more enjoyable.

If you’re visiting Berriew for the first time....you’re welcome, and if it’s not your first time....welcome back!
